After two decades of corporate life, it felt like I was being called to something different.

Someone very dear to be, encouraged me to stop for a moment and picture my hopes and dreams for the future. After a year of toying with various ideas and discussing possibilities over many a home-cooked meal, I realised the answer had been right in-front of me all along. So in 2026, Proper Plates was born. A labour of love, care, passion and warmth.
