We believe in the value of community. So we offer a 15% Discount for Community Events.

How It Works

There are a few criteria you’ll need to meet to be applicable for the Community Kitchen discount.

First of all, it must be one of the following types of event:

  • Building the community locally, like an over-60s lunch or a meal for those alone or facing food poverty.

  • Raising funds or awareness for a recognised charitable cause.

  • Brings people together with shared interests at no profit, like a book club, sports club or faith group.

  • Celebrates an occasion with their local community, like a street party.

  • Delivers non-commercial courses or training with charitable aims, like an Alpha course or an NA or AA meeting.

     

And these three things must apply:

  • At the event, you must be feeding at least 20 people.

  • You must be happy to share stories and pictures from your event.

  • You’ll have to collect the food we provide.

Community Kitchen Card: Terms & Conditions

1. Membership & Eligibility

  • Friends & Family Membership: To receive a Community Kitchen Card, you must be a member of our Friends & Family program. If you aren’t already, you can sign up for free at any of our shops.

  • Validity: Cards are valid for one year. Upon expiry, you may request a renewal, subject to our standard eligibility checks.

  • Eligible Events: The Community Kitchen discount is not universal. It applies strictly to transactions for "Eligible Community Events" as defined by the criteria listed on this page.

2. Usage & Restrictions

  • Exclusivity: This discount cannot be combined with other offers, vouchers, gift cards, or existing discounts.

  • Resale Policy: Items purchased using this discount may not be resold for profit. The only exception is for registered charities, provided the total resale price does not exceed the original non-discounted price (i.e., a maximum 30% markup to cover the discounted amount).

  • Ordering Channels: Discounts are available in-store only. Depending on the location, orders may be placed via phone or email. This discount is not applicable to online orders or Home Delivery services.

3. Large Orders & Logistics

  • Stock & Lead Times: All orders are subject to availability. For orders exceeding 50 portions or 10 units of the same item, we require at least five working days' notice prior to your collection date.

  • Safety & Compliance: For large-batch orders, we require written confirmation that you understand cooking times may vary. By accepting the discount, the cardholder assumes full responsibility for ensuring all food is prepared safely, cooked evenly, and served piping hot.
